Among chimneys, terraces and the green-bronze domes that trace the Paris skyline, this penthouse opens up as a privileged stage for outdoor living. From this height, “the City of Light” unfolds in 360 degrees, and every corner of the terrace has been designed to make the most of the panorama. With lounge areas, dining and, of course, the outdoor kitchen as its focal point, the scheme follows a clear idea: to combine design, functionality and resilience in a space made for enjoying it all, in true French chic style.
The choice was a Novara N2 system with an AIR bar, which takes pride of place on the terrace with a clean, contemporary look. Made to measure, the kitchen brings a wok burner, gas barbecue, sink and tap together in a single linear unit. The worktop, with its light finish and pure lines, contrasts with the dark mass of the cooking appliances and rests on a timber front that adds warmth. The AIR bar, visually suspended above the main surface, acts as a gathering point and extends the kitchen’s functionality without crowding the space.
The layout encourages an orderly workflow while keeping the overall composition uncluttered. The materials have been chosen for their durability and their ability to withstand outdoor exposure, ensuring heavy use without any loss of performance or beauty. The result is a precise balance of technique and aesthetics, fully integrated into the terrace’s overall design.
With this project, Novara reaffirms its ability to transform urban terraces into elegant spaces for entertaining, combining high performance with a design in harmony with its surroundings.
