In the heart of the Empordà, a land of artists and endless horizons, this house stands on a small hill open to the landscape. The gentle climate and a garden planted with Mediterranean species such as olive, lemon and cypress trees define a setting where calm becomes a way of life.
The project, by Jané&Font Arquitectura, responds with a restrained, minimalist language that sits naturally within the distinctive Empordà landscape. Here, the outdoor kitchen takes centre stage: a space designed for sharing, extending outdoor living and keeping the aesthetic coherence of the whole.
Novara has fitted the house with a bespoke N2 system finished in Dekton Sirius, a highly durable material whose dark texture brings elegance and restraint. The worktop seamlessly integrates a black gas barbecue and a professional Novara gas paella burner, pieces that guarantee heavy, versatile use without compromising the clean lines of the design. The storage units, built to the same standards of precision and durability, complete a kitchen made to stand the test of time.
As a finishing touch, the lounge area includes a fireplace, so the kitchen can be enjoyed in winter too, reinforcing the idea of a space designed to be lived in whatever the season.
With this installation, Novara reaffirms its ability to combine technical rigour with aesthetic sensitivity, shaping demanding residential projects where function and setting blend in perfect harmony.
