Located in Madrid’s Conde Orgaz neighbourhood, this detached house strikes a precise balance between contemporary architecture, refined interiors and outdoor spaces designed for everyday use. Opening onto the garden through a large L-shaped terrace, the ground floor brings together lounge areas, outdoor dining, a pool and a fully equipped kitchen, conceived as the functional and theatrical heart of the whole.
The project, by Emmme Studio, set a clear challenge: to design an outdoor kitchen with elegant aesthetics, yet equipped with high-performance technical solutions. Novara’s N2 system met this brief precisely. Made entirely to measure, it was adapted to the volume defined by the porch to house the various cooking, preparation and washing modules. The whole composition is built around a linear worktop in Dekton Kelya, whose dark, mineral texture plays against the metal joinery and the vertical timber slat panels that frame the space.
The kitchen includes a professional Argentinian grill and gas paella burner, integrated exactly into the worktop to ensure visual continuity and operational efficiency. The layout follows a practical logic: an orderly workflow, distinct zones and durable materials able to cope with both exposure to the elements and heavy use. The base units, also finished in Dekton, provide storage and reinforce the understated geometry of the whole.
Sheltered by a clean-lined roof and finished with technical ceiling lighting, this space completes a setting in which the boundaries between architecture, furniture and infrastructure disappear. The choice of outdoor furniture, the proportions of the whole and the attention to detail reinforce a unified reading, with no discordant or superfluous elements.
With this project, Novara once again shows its ability to meet the demands of high-end residential projects, with technical solutions that require no aesthetic compromise and precise execution that sits naturally within the overall architectural narrative.
