Cooking well is not enough if it is not done in style

If the title of this new article is in quotation marks, it is because it is, in fact, a free adaptation of René Lacoste’s famous quote: “Playing and winning is never enough if you don’t do it with style”. We have appropriated it because it is a precept that defines Novara perfectly: efficiency, durability and high technology, yes – and of the best – but without ever compromising on design, which is also at the base.

Some time ago we discovered a creator who applies this same philosophy to his craft and who also works with products closely linked to gastronomy: we are talking about Fernando Brambilla and his brand of signature aprons, Bramby Supply. Although our products are extremely different, the way he works them – from the initial approach to the last detail – has a lot in common with ours.

And this great affinity became a collaboration: the purchase of a Novara kitchen comes with a free Bramby apron. And more than a courtesy, it is a symbol: that of those of us who have understood that design is made to last.

Bramby is pronounced with a Yankee accent: its aesthetics make it clear. Its founder, Fernando Brambilla, left behind his native America to settle in the Pyrenees, where he began to design aprons that responded to a very clear idea: to create durable, functional and aesthetically sober pieces, designed for those who work with their hands, value what is well done and need a piece designed to resist.
